Lily's Bio
Lily’s path into music was shaped early on by car journeys with her dad, where classic rock anthems became the soundtrack to their lives. From bopping along to the Red Hot Chili Peppers as a toddler to being introduced to Pink Floyd through the surreal world of Another Brick in the Wall, her love of music was nurtured by curiosity and connection, even if she didn’t fully understand the whole "kids-turned-into-sausages" bit at the time.
Performance first came calling in childhood, when Lily joined a local musical group and took on the unforgettable role of the Genie in Aladdin. While that chapter closed (mostly due to running out of blue face paint), her passion for performing never really left. Years later, fate intervened when Russell walked into her workplace and, out of nowhere, asked if she could sing. She said yes, slightly baffled, but intrigued, and was soon auditioning for Pinked Floyd.
Though she hadn’t been deep into Floyd before joining, Lily threw herself into learning the material, discovering the beauty and complexity of the songs one by one. Watching The Wall opened up a whole new side to it, the symbolism, the messages, the emotional weight, and it all began to click.
From her first show, the experience of performing with the band and meeting the audience left a lasting mark. The warmth, support, and sense of family, from fans, crew, and especially fellow vocalist Rose, have made the stage feel like home. Whether layering harmonies or stepping forward into the spotlight, Lily brings heart, presence, and a genuine love for the music every time she performs.
