Alan Tarpey’s love for rock, blues, and Pink Floyd shines through in his dynamic lead guitar performances with Pinked Floyd...
Alan's Bio
Alan Tarpey has been playing guitar since the age of 12, saving up from his paper round to buy his first electric guitar. Heavily influenced by legendary guitarists like Eric Clapton, Bon Jovi, and of course, David Gilmour, Alan has always embraced a blend of rock and blues in his playing. Over the years, he has performed in various local bands, including as lead guitarist for Manchester rock band Twe1v3, and more recently alongside bassist Jack in the Alan Tarpey Blues Band.
For Alan, the opportunity to play in a Pink Floyd tribute band is a long-held dream come true. His deep admiration for the band’s music and his ability to channel the spirit of Gilmour through his lead-guitar playing has made him a key part of Pinked Floyd’s sound. Alan’s attention to detail and dedication to faithfully reproducing Floyd’s iconic solos make him a standout performer, helping bring the full Pink Floyd experience to life for audiences.
Outside of Pinked Floyd, Alan continues to pursue his passion for blues, but nothing compares to the thrill of performing the music of one of his greatest influences.
