Driven by his passion for Pink Floyd, Russell brings authenticity and energy to every performance on stage...
Russell's Bio
Russell’s love for rock music began at the age of 12 when he first heard AC/DC’s live album If You Want Blood, sparking a lifelong passion for classic rock. As a teenager, he immersed himself in the heavy rock sounds of Deep Purple, UFO, Rainbow, and AC/DC. However, it was his first encounter with Pink Floyd’s The Wall that truly captivated him, leading Russell to explore the band’s earlier work and develop a deep appreciation for their entire catalog. Over time, he became particularly drawn to the genius of Roger Waters, especially the post-Floyd masterpiece Amused to Death.
His journey with Pink Floyd's music reached new heights when he performed a medley of Floyd tracks with SandS, alongside fellow Pinked Floyd member Luke. This experience fueled his desire to form Pinked Floyd, gathering an incredible group of talented musicians to recreate the legendary live performances of Pink Floyd.
For Russell, performing live is more than just music—it’s about the connection, euphoria, and thrill of entertaining a crowd. "I’m privileged to work with such amazing talent in Pinked Floyd, and I look forward to many more years of sharing our love for this incredible music," he says.
