Harry Somers, also known as "The Professor," has been playing guitar for over three decades, providing the backbone of countless original and cover bands. His steady, reliable playing has always focused on complementing the lead rather than competing for the spotlight. Around 15 years ago, Harry added the saxophone to his musical repertoire, and his mastery of the instrument has since become a key feature in Pinked Floyd’s performances, especially in songs that require the distinctive touch of Dick Parry’s legendary sax solos.

For Harry, playing in Pinked Floyd is about faithfully recreating the intricate layers of Pink Floyd’s music. Whether on guitar or saxophone, his mission is to support the band's sound and enhance the experience for the audience. His deep respect for the music shines through in every performance, where he takes pride in his role of adding texture and depth to the band’s overall sound, ensuring every song is as powerful as the original.

Outside of music, Harry remains a devoted fan of Everton FC, attending every game, home and away—a testament to his passion for dedication, whether it’s on the field or on stage.
